[center][size=1][i]First there was nothing. Then, from nothing the darkness, Father Darkness, and the light, Mother Light, were born. From the darkness and the light matter was born, creating the first lands. Then from Father Darkness and Mother Light gods were born to rule over the planets. One land recieved an equines as their gods. The high god was Judilir, a striking chestnut who was God of the Sun. His advisors included Dereiya, the pale Goddess of the Moon and Stars, and Tylik, the dark God of Death. They created beings like them, but unlike the great gods they were mortal, only to live on the lands they had named Alleis for a certain amount of time. The first equine they created was named Hejader. He was a dark bay who was as thoughtful as he was large at 17.2 hands. He became the king of the equines that followed him, taking the lovely Ullisa, a beautiful paint, as his queen. But as it was no truely peaceful place can stay that way for long. Some resented the fact that they hadn't been made first. That they were not king. So they gathered a group, a group that resented the way the monarchs ruled, the way they did things, the way they lived, the monarchs. Soon it had split the lands, the ones for the firsts and the ones against them. Then the war broke out, killing many, on both sides. Soon it was down to a small group on each side. The king Hejader was still left, though his mate Ullisa had been killed in combat. The only followers left were a few of the younger warriors, and one of the older ones who had not entered combat at all. One night Hejader decided to take a risk. The next morning they charged the enemies camp. The first cut down were the older who could not move as fast. Next one fell from each side, having given simutaneous death strokes. Hejader and the leader of the rebels, Jutifeal, were locked in deadly combat. Finally Hejader's age began to catch up with him. His wounds were bleeding heavily and he fell, breaths coming in shallow and fast. His followers formed around him, sheilding their fallen leader from the few left fighting. Inside the circle the large stallion rose, dark eyes glazed over in death. Rising above his ring of living bodygaurds the stallion reared in the air, pawing at the enemy below him. [b]One day the winged one will come. It is they who will restore peace in the land, bringing the resentful ones back under the god's roof, sheltering all as Judilir's mortal children.[/b] Thunder crashed and lightning flashed through the brightening sky, blinding everyone temporarily. When their vision cleared all that was left were five surviors on each side, divided by a black feather that lay on the ground between them. Parting without words the ten returned to their homesteads. The rebels didn't actually believe that the prophecy would come true and came to be the Xorox. They were a bit more sinister and dark than the ones who believed in the prophecy and became to be known as the Amashans. Both sides lived without contact with the other. The Amashans waiting for the day when the Winged One would be born, and the Xorox waiting for the day when they will strike and wipe out all the Amashans.[/i] Which will come first?
